Join us at the Redwood Library & Athenauem on Saturday, May 16 at 10:30am for an author talk with Kristina Baer. In literary fiction, character development and theme, not plot, move the story forward. Kristina Baer will discuss reality’s role in the creation of believable, engaging characters, with examples from works by Gustave Flaubert, Vikram Seth, Jane Smiley, and Tessa Hadley, and her own novel, Minerva’s Fox.
