Eddie Valen: Out by and

Donnie Post: Yes ....all the time. I've seen them as far up the bay as Barrington. I'm a big fan of Mako shark on the bar-b.

Amanda Nickerson: There has been only 1 shark attack in RI waters since 1671...Great Whites do swim off our shore, but they aren't very common at all. Offshore Blue Sharks are the most prevelant, but the most common right here are spiny and smooth dogfish. Statistically RI has less shark activity than many of the other East Coast States. You are more likely to be in a car accident or drown before being attacked by a shark in RI.
