Join chef Bob Bankert of the Mooring Restaurant, farmer Louis Escobar of Escobar Farms, Jesse Rye Co-Executive Director of Farm Fresh Rhode Island, nutritionist Kristin Niessink, MS, RD, LDN and grocer John Wood of the Green Grocer Grocery Store for a panel discussion on the many ways growing, selling, distributing and consuming local foods is important to our community. Samples will be served! This event is free and open to the public.
