Town Council Meetings Scheduled for the Year

If you are interested in Middletown issues, now is the time to mark your calendars for Town Council's regularly scheduled meetings in 2012.

Throughout the year, holds its regularly scheduled meetings on the first and third Monday of the month, at . (Holidays occasionally bump the meeting to a Tuesday, as is the case for the first meeting of the year.)

Ahead of each meeting, an agenda is published on the town’s website, so local residents can see what topics are on tap. And if a resident wants to bring a topic to the council’s attention, the meeting is one way to do so, for there is a public forum session on every agenda.

For the public forum, there are a few rules to follow: Speaking time is limited to five minutes per person; topic must be a “subject of substantive Town business”; and speaker must submit a public participation form to the Council Clerk before the 7 p.m. start time of each meeting.
