Trash Collection Comes One Day Late Next Week, Due to Holiday

MIDDLETOWN, RI -- There is no garbage pickup on the Columbus Day Holiday, so residents should put out the trash, recyclables and yard waste one day later, according to Will Cronin.

The one-day delay will continue all week, he said.

The holiday is Monday, Oct. 10, and "trash, recycling and yard waste will be collected one day later than normal for the remainder of the week," he said.
