Two New Rescue Trucks Sport New Look for Middletown Fire Department

The Middletown Fire Department recently received two new rescue trucks featuring technological upgrades and a new color scheme for the department.

The new Rescue One and Rescue Two are now reporting for duty, sporting many features the old trucks did not have.

Also new on the job are four firefighter recruits: Alex Cavanagh, John Jordan, Matthew Maruska, and Elvis Dacamara, who gave an overview of the trucks.

Recruit Jordan explained, "Our new Rescue trucks have room to store our SCUBA equipment and the old ones did not. If the Rescue is first to respond, but we need our breathing apparatus it makes it quicker to switch between roles of EMS and firefighters."
