US Marshal Fugitive Task Force & RI Violent Fugitive Task Force Arrest Middletowners
Two task forces arrested two Middletown woman at a Tilden Avenue house in Newport on June 12.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — On June 12 at 8:42 a.m., the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force descended on a Tilden Avenue address in Newport and arrested Kristi Lynn Carfora, 31, of Middletown. She was charged with felony drug offenses (two counts of Manufacturing, Delivering and Possessing Schedule I and II drugs). She also had two outstanding Superior Court warrants. Police allege they seized fentanyl and cocaine from her. She was allegedly hiding the drugs in her pants. Police also found $2,45o in cash in a small purse.
Also on June 12 but at 10:30 a.m. the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force went to the same Tilden Avenue address in Newport. But they were looking for Samantha Carfora, 23, of Middletown. She was wanted on three Superior Court warrants. Police found Carfora in a second floor bedroom. They took her to the police station and charged her.
