The Eastern Rhode Island 4-H celebrates its annual summer fair at Glen Park this weekend, July 16 and 17.

With admission only $1, what better way to celebrate local farms and have fun this weekend than at the annual 4-H fair?

- 9 a.m. — Fair opens
- 9 a.m. — Outdoor exhibit registration opens
- 10 a.m. — Amusements open
- 10:30 a.m. — Corn husking demo
- Noon to 2 p.m. — Cat Country 98.1 WCTK live
- 12:30 p.m. — Pie-eating contest live, sponsored by Cat CountryÂ
- 1:30 p.m. — 4-H dairy show
- 3 p.m. — Watermelon-eating contestÂ
- 3 p.m. — 4-H tractor driving contest
