AARP INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE is available Monday through Wednesday by appointment only. Register in person at the Reference Desk on Saturday at 9:00 am for slots available the following week. First come, first served. Slots go quickly.

Math Tutoring: Free tutoring sessions at the library in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area. Bring textbook and/or homework. Tutoring sessions are for 30 minutes and are scheduled at 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm. Upon registering, you will receive an email with your tutoring session time. Tutors are volunteer high school honors students. Tutoring for Calculus and above is not available. Tuesday, April 4th.
Table Top Gaming: Enjoy board games? We play unique games each month, many that are featured on the YouTube series TableTop with Wil Wheaton. Feel free to suggest a game for us to play! Wednesday, April 5th @ 7:00 pm.
Physics Study Group: Join the study group, work together on physics problems, and get assistance from the group leader, Ryan (of High Technology High School). Thursday, April 6th @ 4:30 pm.
Chess: If you haven’t played before, we will teach you. Planning, confidence, patience and discipline are all benefits of playing chess. We just think it’s fun. No registration required. Friday, April 7th @ 3:30 pm.
The Stock Market Game: Learn about the Stock Market and compete to have the highest earning portfolio by the end of the month. Receive $100,000 of fake money to invest. Buy and sell stocks, do research, and earn the most money. This is a two-part workshop, every other Friday in April at 3:30pm to celebrate National Financial Literacy Month. Friday, April 7th @ 3:30 pm.

Kids Playgroup: A playgroup that encourages children to explore hands-on activities and develop social skills. Grown-ups can chat and connect with other parents/caregivers while supervising their children’s play. A Drop-In program for all ages. Tuesday, April 4th @ 10:30 am.

Magical Musical Me: A fun and interactive music and movement experience. We sing, dance, wiggle, giggle and shake! We play with instruments and fun props, listen to a musical story, and everyone will have a chance to play a real guitar! For ages 2-6. Wednesday, April 5th @ 10:00 am.

Up-cycled Art – Fair Houses/Gnome Homes: An up-cycling craft session with a Spring theme! We will be creating Fairy Houses & Gnome Homes with materials rescued from the recycling bin and nature. Bring your imagination and your engineering skills; we will supply the rest! For ages 7+. Thursday, April 6th @ 4:00 pm.
Pajama Storytime: A special storytime to put you in the best mood for sleeping so come in your pajamas if you like. For ages 1 month – 13 years. Thursday, April 6th @ 6:30 pm.
Lapsit Storytime for Pre-Walkers: Introduce your baby to the library during this gentle lapsit program for pre-walkers accompanied by a grown-up. Rhymes, songs, puppets, and picture books encourage language development. Grown-ups get to socialize with other adults. Babies get used to being around other babies. For ages up to 32 months. Friday, April 7th @ 10:00 am.

Reading Buddies: Children will be paired with a buddy to practice their reading skills by reading out loud. Studies show reading for about 20 minutes each day will improve childrens skills, especially if they read to someone! For ages 3-9. Saturday, April 8th @ 2:00 pm.
