2011 New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup Begins Today

One of the most anticipated sailing events of the year – the New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup – starts today and organizers are set to deliver another sensational event as the second running of this international competition gets underway.  Competitors have been steadily arriving in Newport hroughout the past week and many, through two practice races,  had their first opportunity to sail on the Swan 42s on Sunday that will be used in the competition.
