$6K Worth Of Fishing Equipment Stolen From Boat In Newport, Police Looking Suspect
Newport police say the suspect stole the fishing equipment from a boat tied up at the West End Marina at the end of Waite's Wharf.

NEWPORT, RI — Newport police have asked for the public's help identifying a suspect they said stole $6,000 worth of fishing equipment from a boat tied up at the West End Marina at the end of Waite’s Wharf.
Police said the suspect pictured above was caught on security video on Aug. 4. Surveillance video showed the suspect get on the boat and steal the equipment, police said.
According to police, the suspect was wearing a light colored sweatshirt with a capital "N" imprinted throughout the sweatshirt.
