Accomplished Classical Guitarist Diego Campagna: Live at the Redwood

The Redwood is delighted to present Italian guitarist Diego Campagna, following his performance at Carnegie Hall, in a special concert at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, in the Harrison Room. Mr. Campagna began studying guitar at the age of nine (after listening to a record by Maestro Andres Segovia), under the Maestro Carlo Ghersi in San Remo. He continued his studies with the Maestro Davide Ficco at the Conservatoire “G.F. Ghedini” in Cuneo. Admitted in 2003 as the only Italian, he studied at the Salzburg “Mozarteum” University, graduating with full marks. He is the artistic director of the Festival Classico del Ponente Ligure in Imperia, Italy, and of the MusicalMente Festival in Balducco, among other accomplishments. He currently lives in Imperia, Italy, one of Newport’s Sister Cities.
