A 31-year-old senior vice president of digital at a major Rhode Island company has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a house in Jamestown, throwing a party and stealing a jet ski that was involved in a crash in Narragansett Bay that sent two women to Newport Hospital and prompted a U.S. Coast Guard response.
Ryan Joseph Bonifacino, of 5 Spring St., New York, N.Y., was arrested on Aug. 2 by Jamestown Police after authorities responded to the house on East Shore Road for a report of missing boaters.

Police said the investigation concluded that Bonifacino broke into the house and threw the party. Food and alcohol inside the house were served.
The jet skis belonged to a different resident of East Shore Road, police said, and the damaged jet ski was eventually located in the bay and towed back by the Jamestown Harbormastor.
Jamestown Police charged Bonifacino with misappropriation of a vehicle for taking the jet ski and breaking and entering.
