Bloggers at Fork in the Rhode have named as one of the top ten in its New York System Weiner Challenge.
The distinct honor was bestowed upon contenders scoring highest in the categories of Appearance, Steamed Bun, Weiner Texture, Meat Sauce, Onions, and Overall One-Bite taste.
“It’s the preparation and care of ingredients that create the real NY System,” the blog reads.

Ben's Chili Dogs is known for consistently winning the Mercury Love "Best Cheap Eats" award. Hot dogs start $1.65 and patrons won't pay more than $2.15, the cost of their most expensive dog.
