Black Ships Festival 2017: Japanese Ships Arrive: Photos

The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force vessel, JS Kashima, arrives at Naval Station Newport, on Thursday.

NEWPORT, RI — The Japanese ships arrived at Naval Station Newport on Thursday. They were invited as part of the Black Ships Festival 2017. The Naval War College sent these photos taken by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Jess Lewis.
