Body Found At Beavertail Identified
Police said the cause of death does not seem suspicious, but the investigation will continue.
JAMESTOWN, RI —Patrick P. Carey, 33, of Warwick, was reported missing by a family member on Aug. 30, the Warwick police confirmed. State police say he is the person whose body was found on the rocks at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown on Monday.
"At this time, the cause of death does not appear to be suspicious, and the investigation is ongoing," state police said. "Mr. Carey’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, where the results of an autopsy are pending."
