Enjoy the sunshine before remnants of the now category 4 Hurricane Michael hit sthe region with potential flooding. First, Wednesday is bringing back some summer warmth temporarily as the Providence area temperatures could reach 81.

The normal high for Oct. 10 is 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, but temperatures won't quite reach the record high for this date.

Expect sunny skies throughout the day until a cold front comes through Wednesday night into Thursday morning that is expected to bring the low down to 65 with a chance of rain. That front is expected to be the beginning of the weather shifting to some adverse conditions, some of that coming from Hurricane Michael's remnants Friday.

A hazardous weather outlook is in place Thursday for Bristol, Washington and Newport counties as well as Block Island, according to the National Weather Service. The watch comes from a minor risk of flooding because of isolated bands of torrential rain. The high temperature is 73.

Friday remnants of Michael will bring rain and a chance of flooding, although most of the rainfall, wind and waves are expected to hit the Cape and the Islands rather than Rhode Island. Winds for the Providence area are expected to reach 11 mph. There may be some some thunderstorms before 9 a.m. The high for Friday is 63.
