Car & Bicycle Collision: Newport Police

NEWPORT, RI — A bicyclist suffered a minor shoulder injury Sunday afternoon after a collision with a car. The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. near First Beach, the fire department said. According to Newport police, the bicyclist was treated at the scene and declined to go to the hospital. No citations were issued, police said.
