The Coast Guard's search for two missing fisherman whose boat sank 2 1/2 miles off Block Island continued into Tuesday night.

The Coast Guard said a search started after a distress call around 1:30 a.m. that the fishing vessel Mistress was taking on water. One crew member on a life boat was rescued by the fishing boat Captain Bligh; two fisherman remain missing.
