Congressman David Cicilline Holding Community Event

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline is hosting a community event at the North Providence Library on Thursday evening.

A release form Cicilline's office says that the congressman will discuss his ongoing work in Washington, DC, including "his work to end the influence of big money in politics, reduce the cost of health care and prescription drugs and put more Rhode Islanders to work in good-paying jobs rebuilding our roads, bridges and schools."

The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is available online.

The town hall-style meeting will give the public an opportunity to ask Cicilline questions directly. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Union Free Public Library at 1810 Mineral Spring Ave.
