PROVIDENCE, RI — There were 97 new cases of the coronavirus reported in Rhode Island on Saturday, bringing the state's total to 806. With the addition of three more deaths, the total number is now 17, with 93 people currently in the hospital.

Providence still has the highest number of cases in the state at 136, followed by Pawtucket at 99.

According to the latest data, there have been slightly more cases in women than men. To date, there have been 395 female patients and 341 male patients.
