According to the arrest report, Walaski and the woman quarreled over the telephone. They had been sharing an apartment at Chapel Street. But after the argument, she told police, she was afraid to go home and went instead to a friend's house on Kilburn Street. There, Walaski allegedly showed up, banged on the door; and when she answered it, he grabbed her shirt, pulled her down the stairs, shoved her up against his truck and pushed her in the face. Then she said he told her he would kill her two cats back at Chapel Street.
She managed to get back inside her friend's home and called police.
