Cub Scout Pack 2 Fort Adams announces Rally Night!

We are inviting boys interested in Cub Scouting to come and see what kind of fun and adventures await them when they join our Pack. Parents and Boys who will be entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade this September are invited to come ask questions and find out what kind of things Cub Scouts do. Come meet the Cubmaster on Monday September 19, 2016 at 6pm at The McMaken Community Center located in Fort Adams Housing, 402 Munroe Road, Newport, RI.

- Myth: You have to live in Fort Adams Housing to join Pack 2 Fort Adams.

Truth: You do not need to live in Fort Adams Housing to join Pack 2 Fort Adams.

- Myth: You must be a Military Family to join Pack 2 Fort Adams.

Truth: Although we do have many Military Families in our Pack, you do not need to be a Military Family to join Pack 2 Fort Adams.

- Myth: I don't live in Newport so I can't join Pack 2 Fort Adams.

Truth: Many local Packs are made up of a mix of "Island Scouts" (Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Jamestown). We recommend that you find the Cub Scout Pack that works best with your family schedule, and that you and your Scout feel comfortable in.

- Myth: You can only join Cub Scouts in September.

Truth: You can join Cub Scouts any time of the year. Just contact the Cubmaster.

WHO: Boys who are Kindergarten through 5th Grade age.
