Drug Arrest In Newport & Middletown
Police arrested Cristian Febles Monday night at 8:30 p.m.

NEWPORT, RI — A month long undercover investigation has led to the arrest of a Middletown man allegedly dealing cocaine, police said Tuesday. CristianFebles, 22, was taken into custody Monday around 8:30 p.m. on charges of Delivery of Cocaine. Newport detectives with the vice/narcotics division and Pawtucket detectives made the arrest.
According to police, detectives learned Febles was allegedly selling cocaine in the Newport area. During the investigation, he sold cocaine to an undercover Pawtucket police detective on Friday and again on Monday, police allege. He was charged with two counts of delivery of cocaine. One charge was pressed in Newport, and one charge is in Middletown.
Febles is currently out on bail. He is awaiting sentencing for felony charges of Possession of a Firearm by Persons Convicted of a Crime of Violence and License Required for Carrying a Pistol. These charges stemmed from an arrest on October 19, 2016.
