Euer To Be Sworn In To Senate Tuesday

NEWPORT – Senator-elect Dawn Euer will be sworn in to the Rhode Island Senate in a State House ceremony Tuesday, Sept. 5. The ceremony is scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 3 p.m. in the Senate Lounge on the second floor of the State House. Euer is a Democrat who will represent District 13 in Newport and Jamestown. She was elected Aug. 22 in a special election to replace former Senate President M. Teresa Paiva Weed, who resigned in the spring to take a new position as president of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island.
