Sail for school supplies aboard the schooner Aurora! Enjoy a sunset sail past the historic estates in Newport and enjoy the beautiful Bay in the America’s Cup Tradition. Proceeds will help buy school supplies for disadvantaged children next fall. Complimentary entertainment, cocktails and hors d' oeuvres. $35. Reservations required. This is an AARP-sponsored event but is open to all.
Directions to the Aurora: Once over the Goat Island causeway (Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road) off America's Cup Avenue in Newport, turn left and follow the road to Aurora at C dock. Parking is available along A dock.
