
Elliott J. Gorn, professor of American civilization and history at Brown University, will present a lecture, “American Icons: The Power of Enduring Texts and Images in U.S. Society,” on Thursday, April 12 at Salve Regina University.
Free and open to the public, the lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Bazarsky Lecture Hall, located in O’Hare Academic Center on Ochre Point Avenue. Gorn’s talk is sponsored by Salve Regina’s American studies program.
