discuss the ongoing conservation of the lacquer panels from the breakfast room of The Elms, and the history
of lacquer as a decorative material. Our own conservators will be joined by experts from Vienna and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles at this unique presentation in the
Preservation Society's offices on Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m.
