The Newport Historical Society offers a first-person guided tour of their house museum, the c.1697 Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House. Unlike traditional site tours, guests can step back in time to the spring of 1781 when a historic interpreter portraying colonial resident Polly Wanton Lyman will lead a tour of the house. Reservations required as space is very limited. Tour departs from the Museum & Shop at Brick Market, 127 Thames Street, Newport, RI.
