NEWPORT SKILLS ALLIANCE is offering a free HOSPITALITY Job Skills Training beginning January 2012.6 weeks of work readiness/soft skills training including math and reading
Job tours, site visits and panel discussions
Resume & interviewing preparation
Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm
REQUIREMENTS:
Reading at or above 8th grade level and Math at or above 4th grade level
Rhode Island resident
Must be 18 years old or older
Mandatory attendance at the following information session (the full two hours):
October 25th, 10am-2pm, Florence M. Gray Center, One York Street, 2nd Floor, Room 5, Newport, RI
Certificates obtained after training:
ServSafe Food Handlers
ServSafe Alcohol
First Impressions: Exceptional Customer Service
Hospitality: 3rd Language
