Native Mandarin speaker Angel Zhu will introduce the sounds and tones of the Mandarin dialect. Students will be able to have basic conversations and use the Pinyin system when writing and reading Chinese characters.
Traditional Chinese stories, folk songs and the events based on the lunar calendar will be incorporated into the course of language instruction.
