In this class Chef Chris De Perro of The Fifth Element will teach us to make the pièce de résistance of so many of his favorite recipes - homemade Ricotta cheese. He claims that once you’ve tasted homemade Ricotta & learn how easy it is to make in your own kitchen, you’ll never settle for less. This versatile creamy cheese works easily into both sweet & savory dishes as the main ingredient or as a subtle enhancement. It can be plain or fancy and is delicious when infused with herbs. Chef Chris will teach us to make a number of his favorite Ricotta recipes and we’ll taste everything we prepare. A wine tasting will be chosen to compliment the menu by Newport Wine Cellar.
