Australia makes its celebrated return to Newport after a 16-year hiatus to play in the Polo Series.
"Polo is an international sport, played in over 80 countries around the globe, and we are honored to have teams traveling such great distances to play in Newport," stated Dan Keating, captain of the USA squad.

A weekly door prize drawing will be awarded during the match, courtesy of WCRB Classical Radio. The two-hour match will be followed by a trophy presentation of the perpetual USA vs. Australia silver bowl, inaugurated in '93, and naming of the Best Playing Pony. A sumptuous field-side will conclude the day's festivities. Dinner reservations required by Wed, 8/4.
