Pink Rainbow Luncheon with Anite Shreve

The Pink Rainbow Luncheon, featuring guest speaker Anita Shreve, takes place Wednesday, October 6, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., at Belle Mer on Goat Island to benefit women with newly diagnosed cancer. The cost is $100 a ticket. For more information, email  Kim Herrlinger at summerwind590@aol.com. Individual tickets and sponsorship opportunities available; for more information, please visit ThePinkRainbow.com.

The Pink Rainbow Luncheon will benefit the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Rhode Island Hospital, The Adele R. Decof Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Miriam Hospital, and the
Comprehensive Cancer Center at Newport Hospital. The project's mission is to bring comfort and hope to women newly diagnosed with cancer by funding projects such as the Comfort Gift Bags, support groups, and educational resources.

The Pink Rainbow Comfort Gift Bag is filled with approximately 20 items ranging from inspirational books to music to a satin pillowcase. It is designed to bring a newly diagnosed woman
comfort, peace, and hope as she begins her healing journey. We anticipate that 400 comfort bags will be distributed annually as a result of The Pink Rainbow Luncheon.
