The Rhode Island Blue Star Moms will host the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk/Roll , Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. (In-person registration @ 8:30 am) in North Kingstown.
Sponsored by the North Kingstown Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 1651 and the North Kingstown Fire Department, the race has been established in memory of New York firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life helping others on 9/11 after having run more than three miles to get to the twin towers.
The event will provide assistance and support to our First Responders and the 2 million Americans who have served in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan.

ENTRY FEE: $30. participants $15. volunteers

DETAILS: This is a USATF-certified 5K on newly-paved, flat bike path in the Quonset golf course area.
Cash prizes, including $150 to the top male and female finisher.
