Fire Department Responds to Binge Barbecue
Traffic was backed up slightly on Broadway while the firefighters dealt with the situation.

NEWPORT, RI— The Newport Fire Department responded to Binge BBQ on Broadway around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. There was no smoke or fire visible.
Fire Chief Peter Connerton said the fire alarm went off, so the firefighters investigated.
There was no fire found, he said.
