Free Irish Folk Concert At King Park Beach

NEWPORT, RI — Looking for some live music, maybe a cultural event the entire family can enjoy? This Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. stop by the gazebo at King Park Beach for a free Irish Folk concert.

The concert features the following:

• Rhode Island award winning fiddler Sheila Falls
• The Exiles with National Heritage Fellow Dancer Kevin Doyle
• Boston's Copley Street Quartet with Dancer Jaclyn O'Riley

King Park Beach has lawn seating, so bring a blanket or chair.

This concert is being put on by the City of Newport and Friends of the Waterfront with a gift from the Isham Family Fund.
