Girlfriend Didn't Answer Her Phone: He Broke Into Her House and Punched a Hole in a Wall, Police Allege

Lukasz Pawel Kotarbinski, 27, of Newport, was charged with domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

NEWPORT, RI — A Newport woman called police after her boyfriend allegedly let himself in the back door of her home and started an argument because she had not answered her telephone.

Lukasz Pawel Kotarbinski, 27, of Newport, was arrested after the woman complained her was yelling and punched a hole in her bedroom wall. She told police he is a carpenter, who carries a box cutter, and she feared he might harm her.

Kotarbinksi went to the emergency room at Newport Hospital because he thought he broke his hand when he smashed the wall. Police said he did break a little finger.

After an investigation, he was charged with two misdemeanors: domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism, malicious injury to property.
