'Good Burger' Star Kenan Thompson Visits Newport Police With Doughnuts, Coffee

NEWPORT, RI — "All That" and "Good Burger" star Kenan Thompson surprised the Newport Police Department with a visit on Saturday morning.

According to a Facebook post on Newport police's page, Thompson and Mayor Xay Khamsyvoravong stopped by the station during a shift change to deliver coffee and doughnuts. Thompson and Khamsyvoravong also posed for pictures with police officers outside the station.

Thompson, along with his co-star Kel Mitchell are in Rhode Island filming the sequel to "Good Burger," a film based o their sketch from the comedy series "All That."

"Good Burger 2" will follow Dexter Reed (Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Mitchell) as they reunite in the present day at the fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. The Nickelodeon Studios and Paramount+ movie began filming Thursday.
