Grocery Stores Open, Closed On Christmas 2019 In Rhode Island
Nearly all grocery stores are closed Christmas in Rhode Island, but there is some hope if you need something last-minute.
Christmas isn't the best time for last-second grocery shopping in Rhode Island. Your options are very limited for full-service grocery stores, so if you waited on the roast beast, it might be too late.
Most major food stores, like Stop & Shop, Target, Trader Joe's and Walmart, will close early Christmas Eve and be closed throughout Christmas Day, reopening at normal hours on Dec. 26.
Places like CVS, Rite-Aid, Aldi and Walgreen may be your best hope at grabbing anything to eat in a pinch. The pharmacies will be closed at those locations, and even most 24-hour locations will close early Christmas.
