Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms To Bring Relief From Oppressive Heat
Expect periods of heavy rain Monday evening and throughout the day Tuesday.
Periods of rain and scattered thunderstorms will finally clear out this weekend's oppressive heat, ushering in a much more tolerable week ahead. The rain will start Monday evening, with periods of heavy rain and scatter thunderstorms throughout the overnight hours.
The wet weather will continue into Tuesday morning, with the possibility of a thunderstorm before 12 p.m., and showers continuing throughout the rest of the day. Tuesday will be much cooler, with highs only reaching the mid-70s.

Showers likely, mainly after 5 p.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Northeast wind 7 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Low around 67. North wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then showers likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. High near 74. North wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
