Hope for Newport: Norwood May Challenge as Home of the Dumbest Crooks
A man attempting to smash a store window in Norwood found the window stole his rock.
NORWOOD, MA — Some Newporters felt dismay a few weeks ago when an Admiral Kalfbus Boulevard resident was arrested in Bristol after a botched break-in. He was caught after he inadvertently left his wallet at the scene. Police opened the wallet and found his identification inside.
But now another hapless burglar has come on the scene. This would-be thief ran into a technical problem, which the Norwood police posted on Twitter.
