Job Openings In Rhode Island: Search For Local Listings
Even as unemployment soars, many companies are still looking to hire.
RHODE ISLAND — After weeks of coronavirus-related shutdowns in Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training and Gov. Gina Raimondo are working to help out-of-work residents find employment. Despite records unemployment claims and layoffs, many employers are desperate for workers, Raimondo said.
To help connect Rhode Islanders with employers, the state has created a special job seeking platform, EmployRI, in partnership with Skills For Rhode Island's Future. Jobseekers can search for openings, while employers can list job opportunities on the site.
