Latest RI Weather Forecast: Maybe No Snow Accumulation This Weekend
The latest prediction from the National Weather Service in Taunton shows less than an inch of snow headed for Rhode Island this weekend.

NEWPORT, RI — Spring starts Monday, which, as everybody knows, means the sun crosses the equator from the Southern to the Northern hemisphere. The vernal equinox happens exactly at 6:28 a.m., and although astronomical spring, as it's technically called, does not say anything about weather or preclude a blizzard, we aren't getting one this weekend or on Monday per the National Weather Service in Taunton.

Their most-likely scenario calls for less than an inch in Rhode Island and exactly zero snow on Block Island, the NWS says.
The least amount to expect? No snow anywhere.
