Locals Get First Dibs on Friday Night Newport Jazz Fest Tix

If you love jazz and the Newport Jazz Festival, you should be at your computer, ready to buy tickets for some of the best seats available for the Friday night concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame next summer.

The show, on July 31, will feature Chris Botti, Jon Batiste and Stay Human among others and Newport area residents will get a 24 hour head start to get tickets.

Worldwide sales of the tickets will begin on Thursday, giving locals a full day to secure tickets before they’re sold out.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. after a cocktail party at 6:45 p.m. The party requires a separate ticket and have not yet been put up for sale.
