Malia Obama Dines in Providence During College Visit
The daughter of President Barack Obama enjoyed a chicken Caesar salad.

Malia Obama had a chicken Caesar salad with a cranberry juice with seltzer and lime and sampled a few of the appetizers on the menu at XO Cafe in Providence on Tuesday as she toured the Brown University campus.
The daughter of President Barack Obama was very polite and sweet and remarkedthat the drink she ordered is a favorite of hers — as well as her dad, said Ted Newcomer, an executive for the XO Cafe’s owner Chow Fun, in an interview with the Providence Journal.
The Secret Service vetted staff members before the visit, though the head of Chow Fun Food Group and XO’s chef cooked for the President last August for a fundraiser in Newport.
