RI Weather Outlook: Major Rains Coming Again
This could be just the middle of a three-day stretch of soaking.
With several areas still reeling from localized flooding as a result of the quick-hitting storms Wednesday, a hazardous weather outlook has been issued for the the entire state of Rhode Island. No flash flood watches or warnings have been issued - yet - but the state is under a "slight risk" of isolated severe storms.
The National Weather Service says there could be "heavy rainfall" accompanying thunderstorms. Some areas may once again see flooded streets in a matter of hours. The storms could also bring very strong wind gusts in the afternoon and evening, making for a "low risk" of localized wind damage.
When and where is the rain coming? The worst of it appears to be lined up for 7 p.m. - midnight.

Expect to go through this all again tomorrow. Friday afternoon and evening's forecast shows more heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. That would be three straight days of a first-class soaking. On Wednesday, many were caught off guard at the fast-rising waters.
