On this day when we remember, recall, honor and thank those who serve this country, and those Veterans who have given the last ounce of service, we at Gallery Delany look back also on creative work undertaken since 9.11.01.

In response to this tragedy, the Who We Are series of offset lithographic posters was designed. The set of seven prints won a gold award from Graphis in the poster category and was later entered into the Library of Congress’ permanent collection.

Graphic collections that have followed have included the American Revival series, the Boston Strong series and the New York series. Individual works, graphic expressions emphasizing our heritage and including the Preamble to the US Constitution, First and Second Amendments have also been completed and marketed.

In 1986, as part of the centennial celebration of the Statue of Liberty, Mr. Delany designed and brought to market a collector’s series of posters created for the event. This collection was widely circulated and sold, and was included in the Reagan and Iacocca collections, the collection of the National Monument at Ellis Island and many others across the United States and beyond.

Most recently, a photograph taken in Rehoboth, MA has been offered in the usual digital print format, and in several new materials a) on canvas b) in acrylic glass and c) applied to brushed aluminum. These striking new materials offer great flexibility for the discriminating art print buyer.
