Jessica Marfeo, crowned Miss Rhode Island in June, entertained a crowd at a Bridgefest kick-off soirée last week at the Sanford-Covell Villa Marina Bed & Breakfast on Washington Street.

The fifth annual Bridgefest wrapped up Thursday, which packed in another week of music, education and movies at iconic venues across Newport. Bridgefest, “bridges” the week between the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals with a celebration of music and culture.

Band members include: Aaron Abrahamson Cote on the Steel Pan, Joe Godfrey on the Piano, Alex Chapman on the Drums and  Matt Passeroni on the Bass
