Near-Record Low Temperatures Expected In Rhode Island

Overnight lows will feel a lot like winter.

After a chilly start to the day across Rhode Island, expect no relief heading into the evening and overnight hours. Near-record low temperatures acre expected across Southern New England on Friday night, reaching the low 20s in the state and plummeting as low as the teens in parts of Massachusetts in Connecticut.

The chilly temperatures are expected to last throughout the weekend, with Saturday's high only reaching 41 degrees and a slight warmup on Sunday.
